Digital eye screening About 4 minutes

Check your eyes in about four minutes

A few questions and screen-based tests, like the ones at a school or community eye screening. It is educational — not a diagnosis.

  1. 01Questions. Eight quick questions about your eyes and health.
  2. 02Set up your screen. Match a credit card to the screen so letters show at the right size.
  3. 03Vision tests. A letter chart, small print, a grid and colored-dot numbers.
  4. 04Your summary. What stood out, and whether to book a full eye exam.

Before you start

Wear your glasses or contact lenses if you use them. Sit in a well-lit room, turn your screen brightness up, and have a credit card, ID or library card nearby. You will hold the screen about 16 inches (40 cm) from your eyes.

Everything runs right in your browser. Anonymous screening responses are recorded to support Eye For Vision's educational community health mission.
